Eight Adventurers and I had the pleasure of encountering Maine's treasured animal in its natural habitat last night. We saw two bull moose (one from 25 feet away!), a doe, three brown hares, and a black bear! Black bear are extremely hard to find, but with all the wild raspberries in bloom near our secret locales, we got to spot one. And our trip was great for the kids, learning about moose and the history of Greenville. If you ever are in the area, come check out the wilderness that surrounds our beautiful town.
