Painting the Bus!
Apparently, only buses carrying schoolchildren are allowed to be yellow...who knew? So, we set out on a 3-day project to turn our yellow rafting bus red. Three Northeast Guide Service staff members worked on the bus for three days to color-coordinate the beast to match our whitewater rafts. Everybody knows that buses are big, but I don't think you can really appreciate their size until you have to cover the entire surface area with a tiny paintbrush. Luckily, we were able to use a roller for the roof. After three days, we were all tired, all red, and all proud of our new & improved "raft" bus. It sure is going to stand out!
