Northeast Guide Service has had a very eventful Memorial Day Weekend! Our Whitewater Guide Training started this weekend. The guide trainees are learning a lot from our trainers. To become a whitewater guide, our trainees have to complete an in-depth 8 day river training and pass the State of Maine administered test. Monday, our entire whitewater staff participated in our guide training program. We rafted, whitewater kayaked and duckied the upper Kennebec River gorge, multiple times. It was a beautiful day to be on the water and with out a doubt, a lot of fun! Are you interested in becoming a Maine Guide?
