Thanksgiving Day tends to be the kick off to the holiday season, with lights, tree decorating, shopping and feasting. At this time of year we are thankful for so much. We had our challenges this season with Hurricane Irene impacting the end of August and folks traveling to Maine in September. Even though Maine wasn't hit hard with stormy weather, the storm impacted vacation plans for many of our guests. We are thankful that we weathered the storm and learned some valuable lessons along the way.
Thanksgiving allows us to pause and give thanks for the people that are in our lives. Northeast Whitewater Rafting is thankful for our dedicated staff. Dan, Jared, Brian, Brittany, Jeremy, Jessica, Chuck, Moisoff, Josh and the entire moose crew help to make each day run smoothly. Whether it be driving the bus to and from the river safely with our guests, working in the office to help guests plan their Maine vacations, or guiding whitewater rapids on Canada Falls, the Kennebec river and Penobscot river...we are grateful for you!
We are thankful for our dedicated guests that choose Northeast Whitewater rafting. We are a small business in Maine with goals of providing personalization and fun for all that join us. Every rafting trip we consistently strive to exceed your expectations, with playing in the whitewater rapids, a hot, riverside lunch, and friendly customer service from start to finish.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, with lots of snow this winter in Maine and spring melting for big whitewater rapids for all to enjoy. We wish you all a safe and happy Holiday season!
