It feels like Spring...and that means Whitewater Rafting!

Spring is in the air and whitewater rafting in Maine is right around the corner. With the warm up over the last few days, the snow is melting, the sun feels warmer every day and we here at Northeast Guide Service can't help but to crave Maine's awesome whitewater rivers.

Winter has been mild this year. For those of you that are not winter outdoor enthusiasts, I'm sure you have enjoyed it immensely. For those of us that like to play in the snow, whether it be x-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing or snow sledding, Maine and every where in the Northeast lacked in the snow department. Thankfully, we did have a solid couple of months of winter weather and who knows, we could end up with more snow before it's all over...that is typical in Maine.

But, for now, we are thinking of warmer days and ready to haul the rafts out, get them ready for their daily duty of providing a great ride for our guests to experience the best whitewater rafting in the country. Cross it off your bucket list and come to Greenville, Maine this year to experience whitewater rafting with Northeast Whitewater! We love what we do and it shows.

We have rivers that are great for novice and experienced rafters. Whether you are looking for family rafting on class III rivers or a wilder ride on Maine's class V rivers, we have you covered. No matter what whitewater rafting trip you pick, your day begins with meeting at Northeast Guide Service, checking in, getting your whitewater rafting equipment, meeting your Registered Maine Guide, then loading on the bus for a scenic wilderness ride to your Maine whitewater river. The bus ride is fun, with goofy guide's making you laugh, the chance to see a moose and asking questions along the way. We do a safety speech before your whitewater rafting trip and then hit the whitewater for a full day of whitewater rafting excitement. We take our time on the rivers, so you can enjoy the whitewater, the scenery and get the most bang for your buck! Our guide's cook you a delicious hot grilled riverside lunch, of steak, chicken, vegetarian option, our famous vegetable river rice, pasta salad, bread, and everyone gets a brownie! After your day of whitewater rafting, we will transport you back to Northeast Guide Service to watch slideshow pictures of your day. You can request a video of your rafting trip, too (just let us know in advance). Photos and video are great ways to have lasting memories of your whitewater rafting trip adventure!

So, come on out and visit Maine this year for a whitewater rafting trip with us. You will be glad you signed up. I guarantee it.
